As the manager of Kids in Action Preschool and Childcare Center in Kaduwela, it brings me great joy to share the remarkable impact. Our innovative approach to early childhood education has had on our young learners. Through the implementation of internationally recommended teaching methods and the provision of abundant space for exploration and play, we’ve cultivated an environment where children not only thrive but also develop a lifelong love for learning. Our curriculum is carefully crafted to encompass the best practices in education, including the renowned AMI teaching methods, which prioritize active based learning to engage children’s curiosity and foster their cognitive development. In addition to core subjects, such as literacy and numeracy, we integrate activities like dancing and singing to promote creativity, mindfulness and holistic growth. The progress and achievements of our students stands as a testament to the effectiveness of our approach. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their impressive growth and development, knowing that we’re playing a pivotal role in shaping their bright futures. Welcome to Kids in Action Preschool – Malabe Branch! At Kids in Action, we believe that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential. We focus on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging space where children feel valued, encouraged, and excited to explore the world around them. Our team of dedicated and caring educators works passionately to support each child’s early development – academically, socially, and emotionally. Through hands-on learning, purposeful play, and positive guidance, we strive to build strong foundations that prepare our children not only for school, but for life. As the Centre Manager, it is my privilege to work closely with parents, teachers, and students to ensure that our preschool remains a place of joy, growth, and meaningful learning experiences. As the Center Manager of KIA - Kesbewa, it fills me with pride to reflect on the incredible journey our little ones have taken this year. Our center continues to serve as a supportive environment where every child is recognized, listened to, and inspired to reach their full potential. This year’s concert is more than a performance, it is a celebration of growth, teamwork, and expression. Each song and dance are the result of months of loving guidance, joyful learning, and patient practice. Through these experiences, our children are developing essential life skills such as confidence, communication, and creativity all in the most joyful of ways. I am deeply grateful to our dedicated teaching team, our ever-supportive parents, and of course, our brilliant little performers.
